Grace
Nurse Manager
Grace started her nursing career at the age of 17 at a mixed practice clinic in West Gippsland. She then moved to Far North QLD for a change of scenery and continued nursing until the humidity got the best of her and she moved back down south to Melbourne.
Grace has been a part of the Monash team since 2019 and has progressed into the role of Nurse Manager.
Grace is a passionate and caring nurse and has a gorgeous Cavalier King Charles named “Tilly” who is never far from her side.
Lisa
Veterinary Nurse
Lisa has a Bachelor of Biological Sciences, majoring in zoology, from La Trobe University.
After beginning nursing in 2017 Lisa has gained experience in both general practice and emergency, before joining the Monash Vet family in 2021. She has a special interest in internal medicine.
Lisa shares her home with her partner Luke, their dog Keelie, and their two cats Belphie and Levi.
In her spare time Lisa enjoys going on fishing trips, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, getting out in nature, and travelling.
Tilly
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Tilly is one of our trainee nurses that has recently joined the
clinic in 2022. She is currently on a pathway to competing her Certificate IV in
Veterinary Nursing. Tilly enjoys being a vet nurse as it is a very rewarding job
getting to see sick animals nursed back to good health.
Tilly grew up on a farm in country NSW where she found her passion for animal health
and welfare from a young age. One of her favourite memories from living on a farm is
getting to feed and look after sick poddy calves who couldn’t look after
themselves. One day Tilly hopes to move back to the country and get more experience
working with and caring for livestock.
At home, Tilly has two Domestic Short Hair cats named Greg and Nigel, as well her
Border Collie puppy named Willow.
When Tilly is not at work, you might find her behind a sewing machine, getting
groovy to ABBA or swimming laps at the pool.
Emily
Veterinary Nurse
Emily started off her career in the animal industry whilst completing her certificate III in animal studies in 2017. She worked for over 4 years as a kennel hand and handling all types of cats and dogs, big and small. During 2021 Emily moved on to completing her certificate IV in vet nursing at Box Hill institute and has worked in multiple small animal practices in the hills along the way.
Emily's favourite part of being a vet nurse is making sure her patients are as comfortable and stress free when recovery from surgery and procedures in the clinic as well as treating them as if they are her own. She also loves communicating with clients and is always happy to anser any questions they have or even just to have a laugh.
Emily recently got married in January 2022 to her partner and they live at home with her two beautiful dogs Roxy and Missy who love to laze around and cuddle. When not at home she enjoys helping her husband with his business down at the marina, having fun with friends or catching up with her family.
Sarah
Veterinary Nurse
Sarah has been in clinic since 2015 and completed her veterinary nursing certificate in 2018. She has only recently joined the Monash Vet team in 2022, and is looking forward to continuing to grow and learn along side such a supportive team!
Sarah has always had a love for animals growing up, from rescuing snails in the rain when she was young to now being a temporary baby possum mum for orphaned wildlife. She currently has a little 13yr old Maltese x shih Tzu called Alice who you will catch with the occasional side tongue.
Outside of the clinic you will find Sarah in the gym, eating doughnuts or all things cars, as she grew up with a rev headed uncle who would race on the track every weekend with the family.
Hannah (RVN)
Nurse Manager
Growing up on a dairy farm in Koo Wee Rup is where Hannah’s passion for animals blossomed.
Hannah has been nursing for over 12 years, completing her qualification in 2011. She started out in mixed animal practice before coming to join the Monash family, this is where she wanted to further her career and learn more about surgery and reproduction.
An animal lover at heart, Hannah has enjoyed all aspects of companion and production animal nursing over her career.
She is a passionate Great Dane & Horse lover and although Hannah doesn’t currently have a horse she is hoping to get out and competing again in the future.
Lincoln & Sinatra the Great Danes keep her very busy, and Jordy the Cocker Spaniel keeps everyone in line at home.
In her spare time Hannah enjoys helping on the family farm, dog showing, performing in musical theatre and being creative with many ‘artistic and musical’ passions.
